École Pierre de Ronsard, Vayres
Vayres school is a rural Limousin school welcoming fifty students, in a town of 900 inhabitants, 50 km from Limoges.
Located in a green setting, the school sets up projects aimed at improving the "living together", the cultural openness and the well-being of the students. Thus, the educational activities implemented allow the development of autonomy, respect for oneself and others, kindness to oneself and to others and access to other cultures. The use of work plans, the realization of class counseling by the students, the peer mediation initiated at school induce a serene school climate where all students have their place. Learning English from kindergarten allows students to communicate in writing and orally with European partners. Thanks to digital, they can exchange quickly with each other and create quality audio and video documents.
The school also strives to involve the entire educational community as much as possible by involving the staff of the town hall and parents in school activities (discovery classes, school trips, European projects, etc.).
It is also with pride that we share the results of our projects every year during the end-of-year show with the artists involved in the school.
Small school, certainly, but overflowing with dynamism and great in the quality of its learning, for the blossoming of all its students.
Scoala Gimnaziala Sutesti
Our school is located in a rural area, in Sutesti, a commune 4 km near the town of Dragasani, in Valcea county, Oltenia region.
The school has kindergarten, primary and secondary education. There are about 150 students from 3 to 15 years and 19 teachers.
The school benefits from a project of governmental modernization PNDL2 of the Sutesti City Hall. The risk is not to leave the students in the city and to reduce the demographic structure. That is why we strive to make the school attractive and to enhance it.
Our students generally have good exam results. The courses start at 8 and end at 12 o'clock for the little ones and at 2 o'clock for the big ones. Our pupils arrive at school by the school bus, they come from 14 km distance from school. The teachers have classes in other schools, their compulsory full time is 18 hours per week.
